Tunnel Vision Leads to Love
When you have tunnel vision, it makes sense to see a doctor. But the exact opposite was true for first-year medical student DJ. The first time he saw this particular doctor – now his future wife – he describes having all the symptoms.
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary’s definition tunnel vision is a narrowed field of view, or single-minded concentration on one objective. While not a medical diagnosis, it seems DJ had a severe case. He only had eyes for Meghan.
It all started when, following their medical school orientation, Meghan hosted a party for her new classmates. She and DJ started talking in a large group, but as the other people moved on to mingle, they just talked and talked. Soon it was just the two of them, and before long that was how they were spending all of their free time, just the two of them.
Fast forward a couple of happy years, a gorgeous ring and a marriage proposal accepted, and their wedding plans were underway.
Over their winter break, this busy couple stopped by to visit with us and create some fun, relaxed images. Not nearly as formal as a traditional engagement session, what we call a “getting to know you session” is a chance to spend some time together, make some low-key images and for all of us to get to know each other a little better. Here are a few images from that session. We look forward to being with Meghan and DJ when they tie the knot later this month.
